Fits through my 40-inch gate with room to spare. Ran a full day of trenching for a French drain — Honda started first pull cold, thumb makes cleanup a breeze. Best money I've spent on the property in years.

The MEC10 packs a Honda GX390 11.7HP engine, 65.7" digging depth, and a 36" chassis that squeezes through gates and alleys. 2,280 lb of dig-force with 360° rotation.

389cc 11.7HP air-cooled OHV single-cylinder — Honda's legendary GX series. Reliable, low-noise, low-vibration power that starts every time.

At just 36 inches wide, MEC10 slips through gates, alleys, and narrow yards where a standard excavator can't go.

Boom swings 53° left and 40° right for offset digging along walls and fences, and drops spoil exactly where you want it.

Reaches 65.7 inches down and 119 inches out on the ground — dig footings, trenches, and stumps without repositioning.

Grab rocks, branches, and brush without leaving the seat. Thumb angle adjusts hydraulically from the cab.

Durable steel quick hitch lets you swap buckets and attachments in seconds — a jobsite must-have.

Dedicated cooler dissipates heat as oil circulates — prevents overheating and extends the life of pumps, valves, and cylinders.

Upper house rotates a full 360° for continuous dig-and-dump cycles from any position.

Enhanced hydraulic system handles augers, rippers, breakers, and mulcher heads — grow the machine as your jobs grow.
Tough, reliable tools shipped fast across the U.S. — backed by a 1-year warranty.

Bought this to pull stumps and dig footings for a workshop pad. 65-inch depth is plenty for what I need and the boom swing lets me dig right up against my foundation. Solid machine for the price.

I compared this against the Kubota and a few used units. For the money it can't be beat. Assembly was a couple hours, controls are smooth, and the hydraulic thumb is a game changer. Shipping took about 2 weeks and the crew helped me forklift it off.

We use it on our small farm for drainage projects and pond cleanup. The 36-inch chassis is exactly what we needed to get between the barns. Honda engine is quiet enough to run all afternoon without wearing you out.

MechMaxx customer service was excellent — answered questions before I even bought. The excavator arrived well crated. Dozer blade works great for backfilling and leveling. I've put about 30 hours on it with zero issues.

Runs like a champ. Dug a 45-foot water line trench in a morning. Track ground pressure is low enough it doesn't tear up the yard. Only complaint is I wish it came in a hardcase for the manuals — small thing.
